USER Experience

Even though I have uses for all the cables listed to a higher place, I opted for the Universal USB-A cablevision. The main reason for this is because it included a Lightning adapter as well as the USB-C and Micro USB adapters. I would accept preferred the Universal USB-C, just it'due south not yet available with a Lightning adapter. The Universal cable is designed to transition chop-chop between the three unlike charging connectors. NOMAD Kevlar Charging Cables REVIEW

So far, I've been very impressed with the Universal cablevision'south performance. I have the 1.5M (3-human foot) version, which is a little cumbersome, just it's come up in handy in the car and when I'one thousand abroad from my home office. I've tried out NOMAD's universal cables in the past and while they've been amazing to use, they can't really beat this crawly new version with the reinforced Kevlar sheath. The cablevision is however flexible, but it feels incredibly solid at the same time.

My favorite feature with the Universal cablevision is the sliding cable connector organisation that NOMAD has designed to go forth with information technology. The connecters slide hands into place and they snap into place on summit of the Micro USB connector. I experience that because of the sliding connectors, they are more than secure and the cablevision is more stable in general.

To test the efficiency of the charging cablevision, I plugged the USB-A end into a 5V2.4A USB charging port and the Lightning end of the cable into an iPad Pro 10-inch. The iPad's battery was completely drained. Charging from a dead battery, information technology took 3 hours and 39 minutes to fully accuse the iPad. That's a charge per unit of 0.46% of battery life per minute.

The Kevlar Universal USB-A cablevision is a fantastic choice for a durable, long-lasting cable. I really love that this is a substantial upgrade from the Ultra Rugged Charging Cable line of products that NOMAD had previously. Even if you lot've experienced their charging cables earlier, now is the time to revisit NOMAD's charging cables.
